Why hire UPCIS?

Kingsford and Norway are right in UPCIS's home territory. UP Construction & Inspection Services is based in Dickinson County and has completed more than 2,000 inspections here and across the central U.P. If you're buying in Kingsford, Norway, Quinnesec or Iron Mountain, you're hiring a neighbor who knows how local homes are built and how they hold up.

The owner is your inspector. Ben Aho does every inspection, and UPCIS is a local business, not a franchise, with 250+ five-star reviews. Ben is a Michigan Licensed Residential Home Builder (Lic. #262300072) with a Bachelor's in Construction Management and an Associate's in Building Technology.

You get a detailed electronic PDF report with photos, and same-day turnaround is available. Every inspection comes with a 90 Day Money Back Guarantee: if something within the standards of practice is missed, your base home inspection fee is refunded.

Roofs, foundations and basements get a hard look, along with heating, electrical, plumbing, drainage, decks, insulation and ventilation. Radon testing, well and septic evaluations, and lab water testing are available too.

TESTIMONIAL

Happy family with two daughters playing

"I thoroughly researched all the inspection firms in the area. I have multiple experiences with inspections, both residential and commercial. UPCIS and Ben Aho clearly had the edge. Inspection was very thorough, efficient and more detailed than any previous inspections I've had. Good, reliable company for such an important decision in the house buying process."
