Well & Septic Evaluations

Water Testing

Mechanical Well Evaluation

A dry or underperforming well can cost between $6,000-$10,000 to replace depending on the style, depth & location.

Have me evaluate your well and I will:

  • Run the well to make sure it is functioning and could keep up with average household demand

  • Verify the system is operating at satisfactory pressure, (if a pressure gauge is present)

  • Report the style of well & pump equipment present at the home

  • (If requested and for a fee) Take whatever water samples you chose and have a MI state certified lab test it. (Bacteria, Nitrate/Nitrates, Aresenic, Iron, Lead, etc)

Functional Septic Evaluation

Septic problems are one of the most expensive problems a homeowner can face when owning a home, which can cost many thousands of dollars to fix. This system is critical to the functionality of your home.

With my septic evaluation (also known as a load test) I will:

  • dig down to the tank

  • tell you if the tank is full and needs to be pumped

  • if the outlet baffle is present (this protects your drain field)

  • what kind of tank it is (if ascertainable)

  • if the field is receiving effluent via a flow test
